Delivery Policy Statement

Our Delivery Service

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we have a high volume of deliveries currently being dispatched therefore we are quoting an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks. We want to ensure safety is the number one factor for our customers and ourselves so please bear with us during this time.

Item lead times / Delivery times

The lead times shown on items is the approximate time for your goods to be ready and ready for delivery

You will receive an email or SMS from us to inform you of the expected delivery date.

Pick up delivery

Our In-house/local pick up delivery service is fulfilled by a team that will deliver to you once you arrive at our facility

  • Contact via email/text to arrange a delivery date
  • Phone call the day before delivery is due, to confirm 3-hour time slot;
  • Phone call on the delivery day to confirm arrival time;
  • Up-to two-man delivery (depending on the weight and size of your order);
  • Time to inspect your items during delivery.

Pallet Delivery

  • Pallet deliveries are made to a kerbside location ie driveway
  • The heavy goods vehicle must be able to get close access to your driveway or front of the property
  • Drivers are not permitted into your home
  • Disposal of packaging is the customer’s responsibility
  • Maneuvering of goods once offloaded from the vehicle is the customer’s responsibility
  • Pallets cannot be maneuvered up or down steep inclines
  • The driver will not wait for goods to be unpackaged and checked

Measure up

We recommend you take some measurements at home to ensure that the furniture you are ordering will fit through the doorways and into your chosen space. This will include measuring the stairwell and if your property has one, the lift entrance.

Free returns

  1. If at the time of your delivery, you decide not to keep your order, we will take it away with us free of charge.2. All returns must reach Joanswood Creation Ltd, in the condition you received it and in its original packaging.3. Once we have received the return, we will refund the price paid for the goods (excluding any optional extra charges) to your original payment method within 10 working days.

    4. If you allow the delivery team to remove the packaging from your property, you do this on the understanding that you have accepted the items you have received and do not wish to return them.

Important notes

  1. When we are able to deliver, you will receive an email or text notifying you about the scheduled delivery date.2. If you cannot accept delivery on the dates suggested, please contact our delivery team directly on 08055208963 or email [email protected] and copy [email protected] and they will try to accommodate you elsewhere.3. On the day of your delivery, the drivers will contact you, one hour before your deliveries are due to arrive with you.

    4. If you require a more precise time slot, you can call us in the morning of your delivery day and one of our staff members will be able to let you know a rough time.

    5. 80% of our deliveries are carried out within the specified time slot. But time shall not be of the essence and the company shall not be liable for any loss arising out of any delay beyond our control.

    6. Allow up to 10 working days of receiving your email confirming that your goods are ready for delivery, for your delivery slot to be booked.

Delivery day

  1. Ensure there is a clear and safe route for the delivery men to access your entrance door and your room of choice.2. Please note that our delivery men are not permitted to remove their footwear or wear overshoes for health & safety and insurance purposes; please do not ask them to do this.3. Safeguard all floor coverings using protective materials.

    4. Remove any items such as pictures and ornaments from the access route.

    5. Keep pets in a separate room during the delivery.

    6. Take time to check carefully that you are happy with your goods before the delivery team leaves the property.

Amendments

Deliveries are arranged to be logistically cost-effective. We aim to send our delivery vehicles out full, on a route that is fuel-efficient; Not only to lower our carbon footprint but to guarantee that delivery charges are kept to a minimum, ensuring you the best possible price and service.
